Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR) is the first planned green field smart city under Delhi- Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) proposed on both sides of Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) connecting Delhi to Mumbai. Mandal Bechraji Special Investment Region (MBSIR) is also a planned industrial city under DMIC.

Founder

Jiten Maniar

Jiten Maniar is an Architect and Planner.

He has completed Bachelor in Architecture from Indubhai Parekh School of Architecture, Rajkot, Gujarat in 2008 and completed Masters in planning from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat in 2010.

After completion of Masters in Planning, he joined Dholera Special Investment Regional Development Authority as an Urban Planner. Where he has worked on preparation of Development Plan (Masterplan) and Town planning Schemes (TP Schemes) of Dholera SIR. He has also worked on the revision of General Development Control Regulations (GDCR), CRZ Mapping and Environmental Clearance process of Dholera SIR.

He is a registered architect with Council of Architecture constituted under the provision of the Architects Act, 1972 and Indian Green Building Council Accredited Professional (IGBC AP).He is also a member of Institute of Town planners, India, established in July, 1951.
